Yes, you can still apply for the top MBA programs in the UK. While the first round deadlines have gone long back, round 3 and onwards are still open.
What is not known to most people is that as high as 40% seats are still available in many of these programs and shall get decided between end-February and mid-April. The implication, if you are looking for August intake, is straightforward – there is still time!
The European MBA, often referred as quick – MBA, is best suited for slightly experienced profiles who are looking to get into a job soonest. First and foremost, the MBA takes about 12 months to get completed. Second, it often has a component of internship which gets you exposure and also let you test a company before committing to it. And finally, the programs are holistic in nature often requiring you to have knowledge of additional European language for completion of the degree (LBS). Very clearly, these 1-year MBAs are great because they allow you to get back to work quickly.
Getting into these MBAs is not easy. Given that you are already at the end of third or fourth rounds, you face an even more daunting task. While theoverall acceptance rates are closer to 10-15%, in latter rounds, they tend to settle at8-10 %. You need to present a differentiated point of view which shall get you in. These are some of the best MBA programs in the world and are usually based out of thriving metropolises – and with thepossibility of Aug 2017 intake, you are looking at potentially saving additional one year. There is no reason why you should not apply. Put your best foot forward and hope for the best!
